[]で囲まれた部分は訳者注。 ほぼ直訳、超訳。 難しいとこもよく分からないまま訳してるので意味不明なところアリ。 修正案下さい。 まえがき ダメージ計算式 Auto-Attack Potency 属性防御 Block 命中力/回避力 GCD Damage over Time (DoT) Enmity Mechanics まえがき 最初に先週のポストについて少し訂正をします。 オーバーヒール[HPが満たんの対象にヒールをすること]でもヘイトは上昇する。 先週の検証では別の結果になったが、再検証によって結果を確定させました。 意思力は不思議なステータスだ。 先週はSTRと意思力を大体2:1の割合で振るとダメージ増加にもっとも効率的だと言った。 これはある側面で見ると正しい。 竜騎士/槍術士では、オートアタックで2:1のリターンを得た。 DTRが64上昇するごとに平均ダメージは7上昇した。 モンク/格闘士で威力100のWSを使った場合には5.8 1だった。 これは意思力を76上昇させたときにダメージが3上昇する計算だ。 白魔道士/幻術士では、LSメンバーが意思力を25上昇させることでストンラ(威力170)を290-291まで平均ダメージを上昇させた。 ここまでで分かることは意思力は魔法やWSに比べるとオートアタックに強く影響するということだ。 まだまだデータが足りず、結論を出すには至っていない。 ここからが新情報となる。 ダメージ計算式 この週末では命中率の計算式に注目してデータを集めた。 ここでの検証には主に竜騎士を用いている。 DRG DMG = (威力/100) x [(0.0032 x STR + 0.4162) x (武器のダメージ) + (0.1 x STR – 0.3529)] もし、意思力を基本値である202で留めている場合、この計算式ではじき出される威力100のWSの平均ダメージは0.5から1になる。 これは私が取ったデータ全てに当てはまった。試したものは武器ダメージが5,10,15,27,36,41のものとなる。 意思力の影響について徹底的に試したわけではないが、現在での意思力を含む計算式は以下のようになる。 DRG WS DMG = 上記数式 + (意思力-202) x (0.035 to 0.05 for Weaponskills) 意思力によるダメージ増加について正確な数値は出なかったが、WSでの数値は0.035から0.05の間になると見ている。 つまり、意思力が100増えたとき、攻撃力の平均値は3.5から5ポイント増加する。 モンクと戦士ではこの数式に少し手を加えなければいけないことも追記しておこう。 ここで述べたいことはジョブ/クラスでどう変化するのかということだ。 竜騎士と戦士を同じSTR・意思力・武器攻撃力で比較したときに、竜騎士/槍術士は平均ダメージが3ポイント高い。 これはダメージに影響することでもっとも確実な事柄だ。 槍術士と竜騎士の間でも2-3ダメージの差が出ることも分かっている。 つまり、単純に竜騎士が全てのダメージに+3のボーナスを得ていると考えるのが良いだろう。 個人的にはありえないことだと思うのだが、データにはそう表れている。 モンクも同じステータスの戦士に比べると大体2.5-3ほどダメージが多くなるようだ。 そこで、モンクと戦士に関する攻撃力の数式は以下のようになる MNK DMG = 上記数式 - 1.5 or 2 (検証の余地有り) WAR DMG = 上記数式 - 3 データ自身の精査を行うことで、1-2ポイント程度は増減することもあるだろう。 ここまでの情報ではまだ100%とは言えない。 WS威力などの差は、乗算された状態で表れる。たとえば威力300のWSでは平均ダメージに3-6ポイントの差が出ることが予測される。 What does this all mean, and what can we take away from this? 最高の武器ダメージを持つ武器が、マテリアでのステータス上昇も含めて最高のSTR修正値を持つことになるだろう。 つまり、事実上は最高の武器ダメージをもつ武器が最高のダメージを出せる武器/防具となる。 この計算式では与ダメージに有効なステータスを見つけることは出来ない。 唯一分かることはWSの与ダメージには 武器ダメージ>STR>意思力 の順番で有効だということだけだ。 この数式はLv50より下のジョブ/クラスには当てはまらない。 私の想像ではレベルに応じて数式も変動している。 また、ソーサラークラスについてもこの数式は適用されていないようだ。 Auto-Attack Potency Weapon auto-attack potency is not a set number. If you look at the stats of a Mogfork for example, you will notice 2 values. There is a Physical Damage value of 41. And there is an auto-attack value of 40.45. To calculate the Auto-Attack potency, you must divide the auto-attack value by the Physical Weapon Damage. For example Mogfork AA = (40.45/41) * 100 = 98.66 Gae Bolg AA = (45.76/44) * 100 = 104 This means a Gael Bolg auto-attack will do the same damage as a weaponskill with a potency of 104. If you are wanting to use the damage formula I listed above to predict auto-attack, you need to determine your weapon’s AA potency first. For example, Mogfork AA damage = (98.66/100) * [(0.0032 x STR + 0.4162)*(41) + (0.1 x STR - 0.3529)] Defense and Magic Defense On the opposite side of damage calculation, we are also interested in how to reduce damage output by enemies. First let me assert that VIT does not influence damage reduction for Physical Damage or Magical Damage. With that in mind, there are 3 variables that influence damage taken. We will discuss 2 of them in this section, PDEF and MDEF. To test this, I found the same 5% variation in damage from the midpoint (this time in damage received by enemies). I increased either my PDEF or MDEF depending on whether I was fighting an elemental or an enemy’s physical auto-attack. I then plotted the returns, and I found an interesting and pretty strong indication that PDEF and MDEF give percent damage reduction in a linear fashion. This would explain why our attacks all seem to be doing the same damage to all the mobs - they all have 0 DEF, meaning 0% damage cut. My friend, Kaeko, went ahead and took the best fit curve and charted out how much every 50 DEF would give you. He also went ahead and plotted the return of adding every 50 additional defense (increasing return at ridiculously high values). This trend constant regardless of enemy level. The curved image on the right simply illustrates the increased returns at higher PDEF and MDEF levels. In other words, if I take 1000 points of damage naked, then I take 100 points of damage at 90%, if I increase my defense by just another 5% to 95%, I will reduce by total damage taken to 50 point of damage which is 50% of the damage I was taking at 90% defense. Here is what I found (At 222 STR) 10 Block = 5% damage reduction 24 Block = 6% damage reduction 56 Block = 8% damage reduction (At 188 DEX) 48 Block Rate = ~05.5% Block Chance 106 Block Rate = ~08.2% Block Chance 220 Block Rate = ~15.2% Block Chance Increasing my STR by 84 points only increased by block by 1% damage reduction. My LS mate Will noted that damage mitigation is similar regardless of damage done. So if a L50 mob does 1000 or a L1 doess 100 damage, you will mitigate the same %. He also mentioned that at 360 STR, the damage mitigation is 23% with the Relic Shield. As a side-note, parry seemed to be at a base of 10% reduction with the 341 base Parry. Also, you can parry while having a shield equipped. I am not sure if this was possible in 1.0. Edit A player named Khagen Dragnir messaged me his own block testing. Also note how the GCD reduction with Skill Speed is different for a L30 PGL. This isn’t that important for end-game content. Roughly 5.5 uses of Sword Oath will equal the hate generated from Flash (without Shield Oath) Roughly 11 uses of Sword Oath will equal the hate generated from Flash (with Shield Oath) Weaponskills The +enmity attribute present on weaponskills such as Skull Sunder and Savage Blade appear to be multipliers of hate damage and not just a strict + X amount of hate. Savage Blade = ~2x Riot Blade (no combo, no shield oath) with Weathered GladiusSavage Blade = ~2x Riot Blade (no combo, no shield oath) with Moogle Blade. (note both Savage Blade and Riot Blade are 100 potency weaponskills). Damage over Time (DoT) abilities continue to generate hate with every tick. A 20 potency 30s DoT will generate 200 potency worth of hate over the 30 seconds and not all at once. Abilities Provoke is a GLA ability that instantly ties you with the player who has the highest enmity and places aggro on you. As long as the person you are tied with does no further actions, he will forever remain below you on the enmity list. The skill essentially "catches you up" Example Aki the BLM has 5000000 points of enmity on Ifrit Miko the PLD died and got raised. He currently only has 1000 points of Ifrit. Miko uses Provoke. Miko now has 5000001 points of enmity and is at the top of the hate list. (Note This is permanent hate) Provoke gives you 1 point of initial hate. If I use provoke, then Miko uses provoke, then I have 1 point of hate and Miko has 2 points of hate. Flash is a GLA ability that performs AoE hate without having to target. The enmity value from Flash follows a similar formula to the damage formula. The hate value is dependent on Weapon Damage, Strength, and Determination with their influence in that order. In addition, the Blind debuff produces additional enmity. Cure Hate Overcuring does not appear to generate hate. Also 1 Flash (no Shield Oath) = ~750 Cure (Aque healed on WHM 300/heal, took 3 heals to steal hate) 1 Flash (Sheld Oath) = ~1500 Cure (Aque healed about 1500 on 5 cures) I was wrong about the previous statement that overcuring does not cause hate. Overcuring causes the same amount of hate as normal curing 1 POINT OF CURE HATE = 0.5 POINTS OF DAMAGE HATE Regen s health ticks cause cure hate per tick. edit Hate from cures is most likely distributed amongst multiple enemies. Hate Cap Since computers have number limitations and cant calculate infinity, there has to be a hard cap on the amount of hate a person can have. We wanted to test this for the purpose of future hate manipulation tactics. To do so, we had Will spam Flash with Shield Oath on for about 100-150 Flashes. We then had Miko spam Cure II. At about 30k Cure Hate (15k Damage Hate), Miko s enmity bar was roughly 20% full. This leads us to believe that the enmity cap is at least 75,000 Damage Hate and probably higher. We are most likely never going to reach those numbers in a fight, so the effort towards pinpointing an exact hate value is moot. ______________________________________________________________________________ Thank you everyone for taking the time to read through all of this.
