Un vaste bûcher est élevé; on y monte par les gradins latéraux. Sur la plate-forme du bûcher sont placés un lit, une toge, un casque, une épée avec son baudrier, et un buste d'Énée.) (Entrent les Prêtres de Pluton, revêtus de costumes funèbres, ils viennent processionnellement se grouper auprès de deux autels où brillent des flammes verdâtres, puis Anna, Narbal, et enfin Didon voilée et couronnée de feuillage.
